Penelitian ini berfokus pada pandangan Alkitab terhadap perubaan perintah penyembelihan domba Paskah dari rumah ke tempat suci. Melalui perbandingan eksegesis antara kitab Keluaran 12:7 dan Ulangan 16:5 akan membantu dalam menjawab pandangan perubahan perintah dengan prinsip Alkitab. Studi eksegesis ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh makna dari bahasa asli untuk mengetahui konsistensi Allah terhadap perintah yang Ia berikan kepada umat-Nya. Hasil studi menunjukan bahwa kedua ayat tersebut tidak bertentangan melainkan menyempurnakan ibadah ritual paskah. Hal tersebut mencerminkan perkembangan ibadah domestik menuju nasional yang berpusat ditempat kudus setelah memasuki Tanah Perjanjian. Perubahan itu bukanlah perubahan esensi Allah, tetapi penyesuaian kepada keadaan umat Tuhan agar dapat melaksakan perintah tersbut secara sempurna.

Abstract

This study focuses on the biblical perspective regarding the change of the Passover lamb slaughter command from the household to the sacred place. Through a comparative exegesis of Exodus 12:7 and Deuteronomy 16:5, this research aims to address the perspective on the change of command in light of biblical principles. The exegesis seeks to derive meaning from the original language to understand God's consistency in the commandments He gives to His people. The results indicate that the two verses do not contradict each other; rather, they enhance the Passover ritual observance. This reflects the evolution of worship from a domestic context to a national one, centered in the holy place after entering the Promised Land. This change is not a shift in God's essence but an adjustment to the state of God's people to facilitate the perfect execution of the command.
